Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-23AATM (Asociación de Autónomos del Taxi de Melilla), tax ID G-75641399, Calle Actor Luis Prendes, 3, 52002 Melilla, Spain, is the controller of data used to manage the service. Contact info@melilla.pro, handled by Melilla.pro on behalf of AATM. Melilla.pro provides technology support as a processor and is responsible for its own commercial and billing data. Its identification details appear in the legal notice.
1. Data and purposes
We process account and contact details, phone, email, requests, routes, times, statuses, incidents, messages and technical security and notification data. Shared location helps identify pickup and coordinate the service. You can enter an address without enabling device location. Location and notification permissions can be managed in device settings. Do not provide unnecessary third-party or sensitive information.
2. Legal bases
Requests, coordination and related assistance are based on steps you request before a contract and performance of the service (GDPR 6(1)(b)). Professional contacts representing organisations and abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests in managing the relationship and protecting the service (6(1)(f)), subject to balancing and objection. Rights requests, official requirements and statutory retention rely on legal obligations (6(1)(c)). Optional analytics requires consent (6(1)(a)). Providing details for a taxi does not authorise promotions. Required fields are necessary for the requested function; without them it may not be possible to handle it.
3. Recipients and providers
We share necessary details with drivers and coordinators to handle your request. Melilla.pro and its providers supply hosting, email, assistance, communications and maps. OpenAI and Vapi provide automated assistance; WhatsApp/Meta and Zernio provide messaging; Google and Apple support sign-in, notifications and other requested functions; OpenStreetMap and Komoot provide maps and address searches. Google also provides security and, if you accept, analytics. Providers may process data for their own purposes under their policies. We do not sell your request data.
4. Telephone, WhatsApp and AI
Automated chat, telephone and WhatsApp assistance uses artificial intelligence to interpret and handle requests. Necessary messages or voice are processed to respond. The telephone agent does not retain recordings or transcripts, although necessary request details are kept. Direct calls between passengers and drivers are outside the platform. Request human assistance or corrections at info@melilla.pro. Operational WhatsApp messages are not advertising.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your account while you use the service or until closure is processed. Personal details of completed rides, messages and email logs are removed from ordinary use after one year without relevant activity, except for pending services or deliveries. Where needed for obligations or potential liabilities, records are restricted: deletion is reviewed five years after the last relevant ride action and three years for communications. Group requests follow the period below. Claims or legal duties may extend these periods. Restricted data is not used for services, advertising or assistant learning. Account closure removes linked data from ordinary use; other channels may require verification of your identity and connection to the records. Invoices follow statutory periods. Recovery copies normally rotate after 30 days, retaining at least three; they are not used for ordinary access.
6. Group reservations
We use contact and organisation details, date, route, passenger count, luggage and notes to handle and coordinate the request. The basis is your service request or, for organisation representatives, the legitimate interest in managing that professional relationship. The coordinator and communication providers receive only necessary details. Ordinary use lasts one year from submission, followed by restriction for obligations or liabilities. Deletion is reviewed six years after the last documented action, unless a claim or special duty requires otherwise. This also covers coordination and email copies.
7. Your rights
Request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable at info@melilla.pro, handled by Melilla.pro on behalf of AATM, or AATM’s postal address. Withdraw analytics consent through Cookie preferences; prior lawful processing is unaffected. Rights requests are generally answered within one month; any lawful extension of up to two further months is notified during the first month. Additional identification is requested only when necessary and proportionate. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es). A pending ride may prevent automatic deletion but does not prevent submitting a rights request.
8. International processing
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Service data protection terms describe entities, subprocessors and transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable. Ask AATM for details of transfers concerning your processing and copies of applicable safeguards. Using a provider or accepting this policy does not itself constitute consent to an international transfer.
9. Assistants and third-party data
Assistants can make mistakes. Do not send unnecessary diagnoses, identity documents or sensitive data through chat. Requests concerning minors should be managed by someone with the necessary capacity and authorisation, providing only necessary transport details. Contact AATM to question or correct a service decision rather than relying solely on automated assistance.
